Q: What is the process to get a book published?
A: Because our mission is to make your vision a reality, we have an initial free consultation with you to find out the direction you're considering going in. We go over our publishing packages with you (If the ones we offer aren't specific to your needs, we can put one together for you) then we map out your project summary and project plan. These two are specific to the package you've chosen and include mutual milestone dates that move your along.
Q: Do I have to know exactly what I want my book cover to look like?
A: No. Our design team will work with you to make your vision a reality.
Q: Do I get my full royalties?
A: Yes. 100% of your sales from the Intelligent Publishing website will go to the author on a quarterly basis along with a report that lists details. First, the report and check go to Intelligent Publishing, which in turn sends the information to the author. The royalties for book sales on our online distributors websites vary depending on the production of your book.
Q: How long does it typically take to get a book published?
A: From three to eight months depending on the project.

Q:Will my book be copyrighted?
A: Yes. Under U.S. copyright law, your self published work is protected as soon as you put the pen to paper. Copyright is based on your creative authorship. Registration allows you, as a self published author, a higher level of security and confidence when it comes to protecting your work. When your work is registered with the U.S. Copyright office, you create a public record of your authorship. Even though you are protected from the moment you start writing, your work will have to be officially recognized through the Copyright Office.
Q:How would I obtain my royalties from Amazon; Barnes and Noble; and Borders?
A: As your publisher, we receive a quarterly report. Your royalty check(s) is then immediately forwarded to you once we receive it and is governed by the online .
Q: What is an E-Book?
A: An E-Book is an electronic version of a traditional print book that can be read by using a personal computer or an E-book reader such as Kindle or Nook.
Q: How much does it cost to print my book?
A: The printing cost for your book varies depending on the length of your book and if your book is soft or hard copy. The printing costs for a 150-200 page, black and white manuscript, soft cover is approximately $3.00 - $4.00.
